The apartment is a few minutes from the 'forum des Halles',
the big underground commercial center that replaced the old city's wholesale food market.
The area around Les Halles is very lively, mostly with pedestrian streets, and many street-side cafes and restaurants of every kind and for every taste.

The apartment is also a short walk to "Beaubourg" as the Pompidou
Centre is named by the Parisians.
Completed in 1977, Beaubourg was a totally futuristic building. All the structures normally placed inside a building, such as escalators, lifts, pipes and ducts have been situated on the outside.
