de Bellechasse is a residential street of the upscale
7th district, surrounded by beautiful old mansions from
the 18th century, a number of them housing now official
services and ministries.
The apartment is located in a beautiful building of the
1900's,
just down the street from the Prime Minister’s official
residence.
The closeby rue du Bac is full of boutiques and shops
where you will find evethything you need for your everyday
life. You may also enjoy a visit to the very posh "Bon
Marché" department store with its wonderful
"Grande Epicerie de Paris", one of the
capital's largest gourmet food halls.
The nearby
Musée d'Orsay, the Parisian museum specifically
devoted to the artistic creation
of the western world from 1848 to 1914, is located in a
beautifully renovated railway terminal.
It houses a remarkable collection of Impressionist paintings.
"Passerelle Solferino", a footbridge accross
the River Seine, links the museum with the opposite Tuileries
